How much travel insurance do I need for a German Schengen visa?
Schengen visitor visas require travel medical insurance with at least €30,000 of cover, valid across the Schengen Area for your whole trip. The checker reads your policy and flags insufficient cover or dates.
What is a blocked account for a German student visa?
A blocked account (Sperrkonto) holds the required living-cost amount, released monthly. When you select a German national student visa the checklist adds the blocked account and confirms it meets the set amount.
